Job Summary

PYYNE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to build a greenfield MVP mobile application. This is a full-stack mobile engineering role focused on rapid development, real-time interactivity, and responsive user experiences.

You’ll work closely with our Tech Lead to architect, build, and refine a high-quality, scalable app from the ground up. This position is ideal for a developer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex problems with clean, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

App Development:

• Design, build, and deploy a performant cross-platform mobile app using React Native and TypeScript.
• Implement UI components using Shadcn and follow responsive, mobile-first design principles.
• Handle real-time interactions via WebSockets, Socket.IO, or GraphQL subscriptions.

API & Data Integration:

• Connect front-end components to REST or GraphQL APIs for dynamic content and real-time updates.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to gömü API specs and optimize data flows.

Testing & Deployment:

• Write and maintain automated tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Set up and manage basic CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Docker.
• Assist with publishing to Play Store and App Store (experience is a plus, but not required).

Collaboration & Innovation:

• Work with product and UX/UI designers to implement sleek, intuitive interfaces.
• Leverage AI tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Gemini to accelerate development.
• Participate in agile planning, code reviews, and sprint retrospectives.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with React Native and TypeScript.
• UI/UX sensibility with experience building user-friendly, visually engaging interfaces.
• Hands-on knowledge of real-time data handling (e.g., WebSockets or GraphQL subscriptions).
• Familiarity with REST or GraphQL API integration.
• Proficiency in automated testing with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD workflows, and GitHub Actions.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience deploying apps to the Play Store and App Store.
• Exposure to Mobile Configuration Profiles (MCP).
• Previous work on betting or real-time interactive apps.

Other Requirements:

• Able to work independently in a fast-moving environment with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable collaborating remotely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders.
