The Opportunity
The Distribution Operations Manager is a management position with the opportunity to significantly impact the successful transformation and operation of US 3PL Storage & Distribution.
This position is on site and located in Lake Forest, IL.
In conjunction with supporting internal business areas and projects, identifies
opportunities for cost reduction, quality, and technology, develops and executes strategies to achieve them.
What You’ll Work On
- Supporting Customer Service to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Product availability and supply continuity to ensure optimized target stock & scrap levels while meeting our customer needs.
- Manage 3PL locations to ensure maximum service levels to our customers.
- Meeting regulatory compliance and quality standards to ISO 13485 and ISO9001.
- Monitors service providers capability and performance to ensure KPI’s are met.
- Understands and tracks continuous improvements initiatives and projects with service providers.
- Manage and develop a team-based culture within US Distribution and 3PL team, driving change and improvement initiatives, establishing, communicating, and implementing short, medium to long terms plan to ensure that ARDX’s targets described within the key performance indicators and “Best in Class” performance levels are achieved in all areas.
- Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration
- (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements,
- Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
- Experience with SAP/ERP system and inventory control.
- 5 years of experience across 3PL, Vendor, Service Provider Management experience with at least 3 years in Storage & Distribution.
- Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to resolve conflict and be able to translate strategies into practical goals.
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
- Strong verbal and written communications ability at multiple levels in the organization.
- Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Ability to travel approximately 5%, domestically.

The base hisse for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the hisse range may vary from the range posted.
